Torontonians had their celebration for the first day of 2016 at various places in downtown, Toronto. On last Thursday, the TTC subway trains passengers were able to take the advantage of the free ride from 7pm until 7am. Pedestrian were able to see ladies with short dresses and high heels on their way to the parties in the cold weather. Nathan Phillips Square was crowded as usual for the New Year’s celebration and stage performances were able to be seen. Fireworks was sparkling at the Toronto City Hall immediately after the countdown.
