A massive pillow fight had been taken place on the first Saturday of April. The warriors were gathered at the Nathan Phillip Square, Toronto, for the annual International Pillow Fight Day. When the bell rang at 3pm, various groups of pillow fighters charged towards each other with pillows. No matter what gender, age or background they were coming from, they put all the energy on hitting to their random opponents in the middle of the square.
Toronto is one of the participating cities for this largest flash mob for pillow fights in the world. Fighters spread the word via social networking websites such as Facebook, Twitter, blogs and so on. One of the goals of the organizers was to collaborate with other organizers around the world and to create “urban living rooms” for a unique social experience.
