Summerlicious, presented by Interac Association and produced by the City of Toronto, returns July 8 to 24 with delicious dishes served at more than 220 of Toronto’s top restaurants. The 14th annual city-wide culinary celebration welcomes 24 new restaurants this year, including Kasa Moto, Rose & Sons, Ufficio and R&D, to name a few.
Three-course prix fixe lunch menus are priced at $18, $23 and $28 and dinner menus are priced at $28, $38 and $48. Reservations are strongly recommended and are to be made directly with the participating dining establishments beginning Thursday, June 23.
“Summerlicious offers the perfect opportunity to try something new or relive a great eating experience at some of Toronto’s best restaurants,” said Mayor John Tory. “Toronto is one of the most diverse cities in the world so it’s no surprise that our restaurant industry reflects the many cultures of our people.”
“Summerlicious is one of the city’s most popular annual events,” said Councillor Michael Thompson (Ward 37 Scarborough Centre), Chair of the Economic Development Committee. “From 36 participating restaurants in 2003, it has grown to more than 220 this year. Summerlicious clearly has a significant economic impact on the city of Toronto and our restaurant industry.”
“We know how important the restaurant sector is to the city and are pleased to once again be the Presenting Sponsor of the City of Toronto’s Summerlicious program,” said Caroline Hubberstey, Head of External Affairs, Interac Association and Acxsys Corporation. “This is a great opportunity for people to explore and enjoy the city’s great restaurant scene, and when paying with Interac they are helping to keep costs low for these businesses.”

About Summerlicious and Winterlicious
The Summerlicious and Winterlicious programs are produced by the City of Toronto. The Licious programs began in 2003 as a way to boost Toronto’s restaurant industry during typically slow periods of business. In the years since the programs’ inception, participating restaurants have served 5.9 million meals during the promotion which have generated more than $260 million in economic activity for the local restaurant industry. The Licious programs were ranked in the top three all-time favourite festivals, fairs and events in Field Day’s fourth annual Toronto entertainment survey.
