The 10th annual non-profit summer festival, Youth Day, was being held at Yonge-Dundas Square and partial Yonge Street was closed for the food and various vendors on last Sunday. The festival featured over 100 non-stop live music and dance performances, art gallery, fashion Shows and cultural performances. This event was operated by the volunteers from the non profit Celebrations of Youth Organization. The mission of this festival is to engage and encourage the youth into the arts such as their own music, dance, photography by showcasing their artistic work.
Besides, visitors may also enjoy the food on the street such as BeaverTails, fruit, barbecue chicken, snowflake dessert (Taiwanese), ice cream,churro, funnel cake and more.
