KARD Is Announced As The First Group For Toronto Kpop Con 2017

Making major waves before their official debut, KARD is the first out of three groups announced for Toronto Kpop Con 2017 (#TKC17). Their fanmeeting will kick off the convention on Friday, May 12, 2017 at 7:00pm inside the luxurious John Bassett Theatre at the Toronto Metro Convention Centre. The remaining 2 headlining acts will be announced over the next month.

Tickets for K.A.R.D will go on sale Sunday March 5th at 7pm (Eastern) from www.TorontoKpopCon.com/artists/kard Prices range from $80-$170 (CAD).

K.A.R.D, or KARD, is a project group formed by DSP Entertainment that is set to release three projects before their official debut. Comprising of J.Seph, BM, Somin, and Jiwoo, they are currently the only active Kpop co-ed group. Each letter represents a playing card: King, Ace, blackjokeR, colorjokeR and hiDden, respectively. Currently, they have released two singles: “Oh NaNa,” which features their labelmate, Heo Youngji as the hidden member; and “Don’t Recall”, which will be followed by a hidden track. Their recent single is nearly at 10 million views after a few weeks on Youtube, and the song hit #1 on iTunes USA K-pop charts and made serious impacts on fans around the world.

Toronto Kpop Con is now in its 3rd year and has a top worldwide reputation for it’s unique multi-fanmeet format, allowing fans to interact with their favourite artists in one of the best theatres in Toronto. In the past TKC hosted A-level talent from South Korea such as GOT7, VIXX and Gfriend. The convention is 100% fan-run, with over 130 staff & volunteers, 200+ panelists and performers on the Canada Dream Stage, and dozens of vendors.
