Share Her Journey Rally @ TIFF 2018

Yesterday, the actor and the founder of Geena Davis Institute Geena Davis, director Amma Asante, the actor and #AfterMeToo cofounder Mia Kirshner, actor Amanda Brugel and a few other female speakers in the film industry had joined together on the TIFF stage for the Share Her Journey Rally and spoke against the gender inequality.

Dr. Stacy L. Smith, Founder and Director of the USC Annenberg Inclusion Initiative, the leading global think tank studying issues of inequality in entertainment;
Amanda Brugel, actor;
Keri Putnam, Executive Director of Sundance Institute and champion for independent artists;
Mia Kirshner, actor, and co-founder of #AfterMeToo;
Amma Asante, filmmaker (Belle, United Kingdom, and Where Hands Touch)
Cathy Schulman, President, Welle Entertainment;
Nandita Das, filmmaker (Firaaq, Manto) and actor;
Zavia Forrest, TIFF Next Wave Committee member
